Our Life Curriculum
More than qualifications.
The skills, knowledge and experiences that help young people navigate adult life. Built into everything we do at Northwell.
Why it matters
Many of the young people who come to Northwell have gaps that go beyond academic knowledge. They may not have had consistent adults around them, may lack confidence in everyday situations, or may never have been taught the practical skills that most people take for granted.
Our Life Curriculum is our commitment to addressing those gaps directly. Not as an add-on, but as a core part of what we do. These sessions run alongside vocational and re-engagement programmes and are woven into the culture of the provision.
